Safe storing and ease of use, which material is stored for scrap booking can be of great concern. You can easily find a safe and relatively inexpensive method of storing the materials with the storage making method outlined below. Paper being used in making scrapbooks defoliates easily if handled unsafely. The storage shelves built using this method outlined below will help in their safe storage.
Step 1 - Go to the market and purchase a number of packages of Cube System: But while buying be careful, value shop and look around, these packs vary greatly from location to location. You will need minimum 2 packs to make shelves; one for the base cube shape and one to give you 5 shelves.
Step 2 -You will also need cable ties, which you can easily buy from most hardware shops or variety stores. Check the electrical/lighting section of the store for these items. A small size, cable tie is sufficiently strong for building these racks, so don't hesitate to use them.
Step 3 -The next step is to build the Base Cube Shape. One pack will be sufficient for constructing a box of 4 sides and a back/bottom. If you want to put the shelves on a desk, make sure you have the flat side of the round connectors on what will be the bottom of the shelves otherwise it may vibrate a little bit.
Step 4 - Then you will have to place the shelves in and secure with cable ties. Make the second pack of cubes, by sliding them in at regular intervals into the cube and secure with cable ties. You can put the cable ties at the front, middle and back, along each of the three sides. The more ties you use, the more stable the structure.
While performing this look at each panel, you will observe a slight indent where the grill joins to the outside rail of the panel, creating a small sunken effect. Be definite that you have the indented part as the bottom of the shelf so that it acts like a little railed shelf, if you place a number of sheets in; the rim of the panel stops the paper from sliding out. After placing the all cable ties in their respective place, cut the extra part of the cable tie that sticks out. Avoid using your good scrapping scissors, as this plastic is tough enough to damage them.
Step 5 - If you wish to get 10 shelves in one cube then you will have to add another pack of panel. If you want to increase the storage capacity then you need to add extra cubes. If make use of surplus of cable ties, then one cube can hold quite a lot of completed albums. They are also great for storing your standard size papers and pages.
